The Leeds International Piano Competition was founded in 1961 and has taken place on a triennial basis since 1963. The next Competition will be in September 2018. ‘The Leeds’, as it is known, has discovered many of the great pianists of our time and has a strong brand, a renowned history and reputation, as well as loyal support in the local community. It is also highly respected by professional musicians and promoters across the world.
The key tasks of the Operations Manager will include office administration to support the Senior Management team, engagement in the promotion and delivery of concerts and events, work to support the Friends of ‘The Leeds’ and general admin support for other members of the team including the Development Director and Education Officer. Candidates will need to have experience of managing a challenging and diverse administration role and sound working knowledge of Sage bookkeeping systems including budgets and management accounts.
