Galyna Gusachenko
Galyna Gusachenko was born in Ukraine in 1992. From 2001 till 2005 Galyna studied at the Music School in Kharkov with Prof. Garri Gelfgat. In the period from 2005 till 2011 she studied at the Central Music School of the Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Prof. Anatoly Ryabov and Prof. Mikhail Voskresensky.
In 2011 Galyna began her studies in Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg (Germany) in the class Prof. Evgenij Koroliov and studies under Tanz Köln and Prof. Martinez-Mehner.
Galyna has been successful at several competitions, including Second Prize at the International Piano Competition Adilia Alieva (France, 2010), Grand Prize of the ‘Art of the 21st Century’ (Kiev, 2009), Third Prize of The International Piano Competition for Young Musicians (Netherlands) and she was also winner of the Steinway Förderpreis (Germany, 2014).
Performances to date have included appearances on NDR Culture and the Verein Yehudi Menuhin “Live Music Now” (Köln) and concerts in Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Finland, Spain, Italy, France, Sweden and the Netherlands.
Gusachenko has participated in masterclasses with Grigory Gruzman, Uwe Balser, Bernd Goetzke, Severin von Eckardstein, Rena Shereshevskaya and Dmitri Bashkirov.
