Lovre Marusic
Lovre's notable achievements include First prize at the 20th "Santa Cecilia" International Piano Competition in Portugal (2018), First prize at the IMF International Piano Competition in France (2018), First prize at the International Piano Competition, New Stars in Manchester (2016), and many more.
Lovre Marušić is currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, under Grigory Gruzman. Notable achievements include First prize at the 20th “Santa Cecilia” International Piano Competition in Portugal (2018), First prize at the IMF International Piano Competition in France (2018), First prize at the International Piano Competition, New Stars in Manchester (2016), First prize, Jury and Public award in the International Piano Competition ‘Isidor Bajic’ in Novi Sad (2016), amongst others.
He is an assistant professor in the piano department in the Music Academy in Zagreb, alongside giving masterclasses – and was a Jury member in Belgrade, Serbia. Lovre’s recent concert recitals in have included appearances in Germany, Croatia, China, Japan, Portugal and France.
He also enjoys a role as Executive and Artistic Director of the Ostinato Chamber Festival in Croatia.
