Shunshun Tie
Shunshun Tie, aged 23, embarked on his piano journey at the tender age of three. He honed his skills at the Central Conservatory of Music middle school under the mentorship of Professor Hongbo Quan before continuing his studies at the Central Conservatory of Music under Professor Danwen Wei. In 2016, Shunshun clinched the first prize and The Best Polonaise Performance at the 1st Beijing Chopin International Piano Competition for young pianists, Junior Division. His talent propelled him to the first round of the esteemed 18th Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2021. Notably, in 2017, Shunshun received a prestigious invitation from Mickiewicz University to perform at Zelazowa Wola, Chopin’s former residence. He has collaborated with esteemed ensembles such as the China Philharmonic Orchestra and the Central Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra on multiple occasions, showcasing his remarkable musicality on the grand stage.
