Kai-Min Chang
Winner of the Fourth Prize and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Prize at the Leeds International Piano Competition 2024, Taiwanese pianist Kai-Min Chang is already making waves in the classical music scene.
His remarkable talent recently earned him the top prize at the inaugural Ljubljana International Piano Competition in 2023. Currently studying under the tutelage of Dang Thai Son at the esteemed New England Conservatory, Chang’s prowess has been recognized globally through his participation in numerous international piano competitions.
Notable among these achievements is his quarterfinalist position at The 18th International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2021. In 2018, he secured second place in the Thomas & Evon Cooper International Competition in Oberlin, alongside the jury’s special prize at the 4th Asia-Pacific International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition.
Chang’s talents extend beyond solo performances, having graced the stages with renowned orchestras such as The Cleveland Orchestra, RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, and the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra. With each performance, Chang continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his exceptional musicality and virtuosity.
