Callum McLachlan
Callum McLachlan Page, at 25, is celebrated as a finalist of The 18th International Robert Schumann Competition Zwickau and a Semi-Finalist of the XX Santander International Piano Competition Paloma O’ Shea. Praised as a ‘born Schumann player’ with a ‘magical sense of color and extraordinary technical prowess,’ McLachlan’s musical journey began at age 7 under his father’s guidance, leading to enrollment at Chetham’s School of Music at 11, where he studied with Dina Parakhina.
Awarded the highest diploma from Trinity College, the FTCL, he pursued his Bachelor’s under Professor Claudius Tanski at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg and is currently pursuing his Master’s with Professor Jacques Rouvier in Salzburg and Professor Claudio Martinez Mehner in Cologne.
Notable performances include debuts at the Klavier Festival Ruhr and Menton International Music Festival. McLachlan’s accolades include being a finalist at the Royal Over Seas League Piano Competition and winning first prizes at the Welsh International Piano Competition and the Scottish International Piano Competition, among others.
He is a recipient of the Musical Odyssey Talent Unlimited Prize and is recognized as a Talent Unlimited Artist. McLachlan’s artistry has graced prestigious venues worldwide, including Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Wien Konzerthaus, and London’s Steinway Hall. He continues to captivate audiences with his profound musicality and virtuosic performances.
