Woo Young Cho

At 23, Woo Young Cho hails from Seoul, born in June 2000, currently immersed in her final year as a student at Seoul National University, where her ardor for music thrives. Under the esteemed tutelage of Professor Joo Hee-Sung, alongside distinguished mentors like Kang Chung-mo, Son Eun-Jung, and Kim Kyung-ah, Cho’s musical odyssey has been profoundly enriched. Her journey commenced in 2016 with a seminal moment—the debut performance alongside the Berlin Kammer Chamber Musik Orchestra at the illustrious Berlin Philharmonic Hall, igniting a fervent desire for further musical exploration. Venturing globally, she participated in esteemed international music camps and workshops such as the Edward Auer Workshop, the Amalfi Coast Music Festival, and the Poland Bell’Arte ICPA. Back in Korea, Cho organized and performed in two lauded solo concerts—the Kumho Young Artist Concert and the Kumho Young Prodigy Concert—earning acclaim and recognition in her homeland. Noteworthy triumphs in prestigious music competitions in Korea cemented her passion and dedication to the timeless art form.
