- Yuxuan and Yuhan Feng, 2pm
Yuxuan, 14, has been learning the piano with Mr. Paul Feehan since the age of 6 and has demonstrated a deep love for music ever since. He is currently preparing for his piano diploma and also plays the violin to a high standard. Over the years, Yuxuan has achieved first place in both piano solo and duet classes with his sister Yuhan at various music festivals, including the Wharfedale Festival of Performing Arts, Mrs Sunderland Festival, Harrogate Competitive Festival, EPTA UK Piano Competition Manchester Regional Final, and the First UK Chinese Children Piano Festival. Yuxuan and Yuhan have been invited multiple times to perform their duet pieces at the final concert of the Mrs Sunderland Festival.
Yuhan, 10, began learning the piano at the age of 4 with Mr. Paul Feehan and continued her studies earlier this year with Mrs. Hilary Suckling. Yuhan has demonstrated a profound talent and love for music from a very young age. While piano is her primary instrument, she also plays the violin and the flute to a high standard, and is a chorister at York Minster. Since the age of 5, Yuhan has actively participated in numerous music festivals, achieving success in both piano solo and duet classes alongside her brother, Yuxuan. Her achievements include wins at the Wharfedale Festival of Performing Arts, the Mrs Sunderland Festival, the Harrogate Competitive Festival for Music, Speech and Drama, and the First UK Chinese Children Piano Festival. Yuhan and Yuxuan have also had the honour of performing their duet pieces multiple times at the final concert of the Mrs Sunderland Festival.

2. Daria Golovchenko, 3pm
Daria Golovchenko is a talented pianist with a brilliant international career during which she played for prestigious establishments and high-profile events in Ukraine, South Korea and the UAE. Born and raised in Kherson, Ukraine, she began her piano journey at the age of five. By thirteen, she had already won numerous city and regional competitions. She furthered her studies at Kherson Music College and Kharkiv National Conservatory, performing with the Kharkiv Theatre of Musical Comedy orchestra.
Daria’s career includes performances at prestigious venues worldwide, including five-star hotels in the UAE and South Korea, where she played at high-profile events for the UN, diplomatic receptions, and major corporations like Samsung and LG.
Since relocating to the UK, Daria has performed at a Eurovision 2023 event in Halifax and given concerts in Sheffield, Cambridge, Halifax, and Holmfirth. She was a finalist on the Channel 4 TV show ‘The Piano,’ with the final concert at Aviva Studios, Manchester, sharing the stage with stars Mika and Lang Lang. Her versatile and passionate performances continue to captivate audiences, showcasing her dynamic talent and dedication to the art of piano.
