At the age of 25, having just won the prestigious First Prize at the Concours musical international de Montréal, Jaeden Izik-Dzurko is one of the most promising pianists of his generation.
This concert is sold out and will be broadcast live and in replay on FLV Play, medici.tv and Mezzo, and offline on Radio Classique.
Noted for his interpretive “intelligence and finesse” ( Le Devoir ), this musician has a warm, dazzling, feline style that he has been displaying in concertos performed with prestigious orchestras worldwide for three years. Mastering the expressive effusion of Slavic Romantic music, Mr Izik-Dzurko has chosen Medtner and Rachmaninoff for the first part of this recital, reserving the complete four Scherzos by Chopin, one of the Polish composer’s masterpieces, for after the intermission. An outstanding program graced by the talent of this young artist who simply must be heard!
