Warner Classics is set to release a digital album tomorrow [11 October 2024] featuring performances by Jaeden Izik-Dzurko, the Canadian pianist and winner of the 2024 Leeds International Piano Competition.
This highly anticipated debut release showcases a selection of Izik-Dzurko’s remarkable performances from the competition, including Chopin’s Scherzo No. 1 in B minor, Op. 20, Ravel’s Miroirs I-V, and Ligeti’s Études Book 1 (Nos. 5 & 6).

Jaeden Izik-Dzurko won the Gold Medal at the 21st edition of the Leeds International Piano Competition in September. Praised for his artistry, Dame Imogen Cooper, Chair of the Jury, said: “He demonstrated exceptional artistic maturity and imagination, remarkable technical command, and a profound ability to captivate and transport the audience through his storytelling and poetry throughout the Competition.”
The digital album is part of Izik-Dzurko’s career-changing prize package, which includes engagements with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Wigmore Hall, Steinway Prize Winner Concerts Network and more.
